Amazon's Security Products and Solutions team is seeking a SYSDEV Engineer II to bridge hardware, firmware, and software across AWS data centers. You will develop, validate, and integrate embedded firmware, design system interfaces, and drive end-to-end testing of security hardware within the broader AWS ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems with strong analytical skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain integration of security hardware within firmware, network, and server layers.
• Define system-level interfaces and data flows between devices, management servers, and cloud monitoring.
• Develop system architecture documentation for data center infrastructure interfaces.
• Develop and validate embedded firmware, including boot loaders and communications stacks, with release processes.
• Design and implement network connectivity solutions and ensure policy compliance across AWS data centers.
