Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) is looking to hire several Electronics Technician with Security System experience. Candidate can be based out of our Denver CO, Phoenix AZ, OR Las Vegas NV.
The teams will support the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) by traveling to various locations to provide support to the Physical Access Control System (PACS) at electrical substations, switchyards, and facilities throughout Arizona, California, and Nevada, Colorado, Nevada, Nebraska, and Wyoming to name a few.
While position is based based out of Colorado, Arizona OR Nevada, you may travel to other regions should there be a need or gaps in coverage from that regions team. This is a 75-90% Road Warrior position (including being gone for weekends).
Monday - Thursday (4x10hr) schedule, with flexibility to work paid overtime if approved and requested. Travel with the team to next location on Fridays.
OT if required and approved and per-diem
This position is contingent upon contract award and funding. Applicants selected may be offered but cannot begin work until funding has been confirmed.
