HDR, Inc. is seeking a Security Designer I in Omaha to contribute to the Building Engineering Services Group.

You will support design for telecommunication and electronic security systems, collaborate with project teams, and prepare construction documents through CA processes. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with 0–5 years of related experience, and is capable of meeting deadlines in a high-velocity environment while learning new technologies such as

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required or equivalent experience.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design cabling pathways (conduits, cable trays) and bonding systems.
• Meet with clients to define and review project needs and ensure alignment with design.
• Develop construction documents (SD, DD, CD) and assist with CA activities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to finalize functional requirements and designs.
• Edit security specifications for projects and stay current with industry offerings.
• Assist in troubleshooting and provide field support as needed.
