Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of electronic security systems, access control, video surveillance, system architecture.
• Strong ability to develop technical designs, BOMs, proposals, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads technical services, design, engineering, programming support, commissioning for security solutions.
• Develops and reviews system designs, BOMs, equipment selections, and programming requirements.
• Supports preconstruction planning, site walks, budgeting, and estimating.
• Reviews requirements, drawings, specifications to create constructible solutions.
• Provides direction for access control, video management, intercom, networking, servers, storage, licensing, power, and cabling.
• Ensures BOMs align with architecture, requirements, and project scope.
• Oversees CAD drawings, as-builts, and wiring diagrams.
• Establishes standards and templates for design, programming, and submissions.
• Oversees startup planning for programming and server setup.
• Coordinates turnover from design to project execution.
• Provides escalation support for programming and integration.
• Reviews readiness for commissioning and acceptance.
• Supports system testing, owner training, and transition to service.
• Leads and mentors security engineers.
• Supports training plans and certification paths.
• Performs QA reviews of estimates and plans.
