Job summary

Advanced IT Concepts (AITC) is seeking a Security Systems Administrator to join our team. You will be the frontline IT security engineer responsible for administering security tools, monitoring systems, and supporting incident response across on-premises, cloud, and remote environments.

The role requires 2–7 years of hands-on experience, familiarity with Windows and Linux servers, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and incident response.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise systems and security.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux servers and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security basics.
• Ability to troubleshoot, document findings, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor security systems, servers, endpoints, and networks.
• Deploy and maintain security tools like firewalls and endpoint protection.
• Monitor alerts and logs to identify threats or misconfigurations.
• Assist incident response activities including triage and remediation.
• Maintain security baselines, patching, and hardening standards.
• Support cloud security operations and IAM configurations.
• Document configurations, runbooks, and change records.
• Collaborate with admins, security analysts, and cloud teams.
• Participate in audits and risk assessments.
