Job summary

Main Event in Coppell, TX is seeking a Security Support Specialist to administer and support physical security systems including access control, VMS, and burglary alarms. You will coordinate with the Security Director and team, manage vendor relations, and assist with incident response, budgeting, and audits.

The role requires 2+ years in physical security, proficiency with Excel/Word/PowerPoint, and knowledge of VMS (Genetec preferred).

Qualifications

• College/Technical degree preferred or 2 years applicable experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Experience with video management systems (VMS) preferred; Genetec knowledge/certification a plus.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation and support of access control, VMS, and burglary alarm systems.
• Be a first responder to store, operations and corporate security needs.
• Provide administrative support for security equipment and personnel.
• Assist in vendor relations and expense control.
• Coordinate video evidence requests from internal partners and law enforcement.
• Liaise between Security and IT/Networking.
