Job summary

Harris is seeking a skilled professional to lead sequence testing, project graphics, and point-to-point verification, ensuring efficient system operation and successful installations. The role requires extensive knowledge of security systems, engineering fundamentals, building construction, and customer-focused documentation.

You will test, diagnose, and improve HVAC-related systems, produce detailed drawings and reports, and train team members to enhance efficiency and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with security system components, operation and design principles.
• 5+ years of knowledge in engineering fundamentals, including electrical circuits and electronics.
• 5+ years of experience with building construction, materials, tools and industry processes.
• 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• 5+ years of strong customer service experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing and authoring programming logic.

Responsibilities

• Perform and develop sequence testing and point to point verification to ensure efficient system operation.
• Create project graphics including electrical/electronic diagrams and system dashboards for HVAC design.
• Repair or service HVAC systems to improve efficiency and diagnose malfunctions.
• Adjust system controls and equipment to manufacturer specifications for optimal performance.
• Document operational activities and compile reports and certifications.
• Provide training and guidance to team members to improve task efficiency and quality.
