Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with security systems, including components, operation, and design.
• 5+ years of knowledge of engineering fundamentals, including electrical circuits and electronics.
• 5+ years of experience with building construction, materials, tools, and industry processes.
• 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• 5+ years of strong customer service experience.
• 5+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• 3+ years of experience developing and authoring programming logic.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and detect malfunctions.
• Test components for proper functioning and diagnose performance issues.
• Create images, drawings, or reports for wiring, dashboards, and HVAC designs.
• Repair or service HVAC control systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Document work activities, time, materials, faults, and punch lists.
• Instruct others on proper use of tools and assist with tasks.
• Guide project teams through the workday to improve efficiency.
