Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Residential Service Technician in Michigan to troubleshoot and service security systems at customer sites. You will advise customers and communicate status to the care center while inspections are completed.

You will locate and repair damaged equipment, read blueprints, coordinate inspections with authorities, and ensure proper system operation. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years minimum experience installing, inspecting or repairing ADT or comparable product line.

Responsibilities

• Services fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
• Follow and complete required processes of wired/wireless technology and connection procedures.
• Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring to properly establish service.
• A customer service champion, demonstrating willingness to help customers fix as well as understand the protection in their home.
