B-Tech Fire & Security in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Security Support Technician to install and service advanced security, access, and life-safety systems. You will work onsite with Brivo, Exacq, Vision, AiPhone, and Honeywell equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install security systems including Brivo, Exacq, Vision, AiPhone, and Honeywell.
• Develop and maintains access/intrusion systems and field devices.
• Perform wiring termination and system programming.
• Maintain vendor/contractor relationships and service quality.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, network switches, and IP addressing.
• Read and analyze architectural blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Provide professional communication and customer service.

Bloomington, IN | Full-Time | $18-20/hr

Job Duties/Requirements Include:

• Installation of sophisticated systems including Brivo, Exacq,Vision, AiPhone, & Honeywell
• Develops and maintains B-Tech Fire & Security access/intrusion systems and field devices
• Responsible for wiring termination and system programming
• Maintains vendor/contractor relationships and ensures the quality of service provided
• Good understanding of LAN and WAN, network switches, IP Address schemes and troubleshooting skills to diagnose network communication issues
• Ability to read, understand and analyze architectural blueprints and electrical schematics
• Performs advanced support functions
• Communicate in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
• Possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Minimum of high school diploma or GED
• Favorable background check required
• Work on other technical systems or projects as needed, such as, fire/life safety systems, CCTV and intercom systems

Physical Demands Include:

• Finger/wrist dexterity & hand/eye coordination
• Ability to work on a ladder
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs and drive a vehicle
• Safely and effectively use general hand and power tools
• Effectively use a cell phone and cell phone app for work order processing
