Job summary

A security services provider in Newport News, Virginia, is looking for individuals to produce and manage employee and guest security badges. Overview

Job description: Produces employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards. Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control.

Responsibilities

• Collects and submits electronic fingerprints, handprints and optical reading into systems.
• Maintains lock and key records.
• Processes visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas.
• Verifies accuracy of information prior to issuing clearances.
• Maintains controlled security documents and information.
• The position will input information into the government database.
• The individual specifically will be working with O15 Clearance Office.
• o The position requires a Government Clearance.
• o Experience with DISS/E Qip Government database a plus.
• o Excel or Access Database experience a plus
• o Experience fingerprinting or awareness with scanners would be a plus.
• o Great customer service skillset, quick learner and Industrial experience or knowledge.
• The position requires an active secret clearance

No travel will be involved.

The position will be outside the yard gates.

Possible hybrid once person learns the job

1st floor access no elevator required.

The individual will have yard wide access but not required

Primary position is outside the yard.

No PPE is required for this position
