Job summary

LG-TEK is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Herndon, VA to support entry/exit control, badge issuance, and alarm response. A minimum Secret Security Clearance is required, along with U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a drug test.

Duties include rounds, monitoring the facility, and following post orders. Education: High School Diploma; DCJS certification a plus. Candidates must be 18+, able to lift 25 pounds, and available for weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience and current training/certifications (DCJS) a plus; up to 90 days to obtain the DCJS Certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older; U.S. citizen or naturalized citizen required.

Part-Time positions available

Shift work: Weekends/Holidays 24 hrs per day available and occassional Swings/Mids M-F support, as needed

Pay: $20.30/hour - $21.00/hour; plus H&W up to $5.09 per hour for up to 40 hours per week

Qualifications

Must possess a minimum Secret Security Clearance

Minimum Education: High School Diploma

Experience and current training/certifications (DCJS) a plus - (Have up to 90 days to obtain the DCJS Certification)

Personnel Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older; must possess a valid-state-issued driver's license or ID card; must be a U.S. or Naturalized citizen; and must have relevant security experience.

Must Attest to Physical Fitness Requirements:

Vision correctable to 20/20

Free from colorblindness

Hearing correctable to normal level

Be able to lift 25 pounds

Drug test is required
