Job summary

SENTRY SIX Defense Group, Inc. seeks a Supervisory Security Specialist / Site Supervisor to lead security at designated sites in Texas.

You will supervise a team of 6-8 personnel, manage entry control, patrols, and armed escort services, and coordinate staffing with the client and leadership. The role requires US citizenship, a valid Texas security license or training, and a background in military or law enforcement with 5+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Texas Private Security Level III Training or Texas PSB Level III License with Level IV in hand; or willingness to obtain at own expense prior to appointment.
• Prior military (5+ years) or law enforcement (5+ years) preferred, with priority given.
• Minimum 1+ year in a senior or supervisory management role.
• Background investigation and security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal guard services including entry control and roving patrols.
• Provide armed escort services and protect equipment and personnel.
• Oversee additional personnel at the job site and coordinate scheduling.
• Recruit, interview, and hire new team members as needed.
• Maintain weapons qualification and proficiency with assigned weapons and non-lethal systems.
• Operate in austere conditions for up to 12 hours at a time.
• Collaborate with client, account executive and leadership to ensure high service quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SentrySix is seeking a Supervisory Security Specialist to become an integral part of our team as a Site Supervisor/Account Manager. In this position, you will be tasked to provide supervisory duties related to physical security, physical security inspections and entry access control at designated locations. Manage a team of 6-8 personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal guard services to include but not limited to, vehicle and personnel entry control points, internal roving patrols and armed escort guard services
• Protect equipment and personnel
• Oversee additional personnel assigned to job site
• Coordinate employee time off requests and scheduling
• Manage recruitment, interviewing and hiring of new team members to fill vacancies as needed
• Maintain weapons qualification on assigned weapon systems
• Maintain proficiency with Non-Lethal Weapons
• Perform internal security guard services, at any potential internal security posting, for up to 12 hours, often in austere conditions to include extreme heat, cold, wind, dust, rain or snow
• Work closely with the Client, Account Executive and leadership to ensure we are providing the highest quality of service to our client
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• US Citizen
• Must have a valid US Driver’s License
• A minimum of 21 years old.
• Must have completed Texas Private Security Level III Training course within previous 120 days or ability to complete course at own expense prior to appointment, OR have a valid Texas PSB Level III License in hand, & able to obtain or already have Texas PSB Level IV License (Full-time Law Enforcement Officer applicants are exempt from this requirement)
• A military background with five (5) or more years of active experience, OR; possess a law enforcement background with five (5) or more years of operational experience is preferred, and these applicants will receive first priority
• Must have 1+ year of experience in a senior level or supervisory management position
• Honorable discharge from the military (if applicable)
• Employment with SENTRYSIX is contingent upon a favorable background investigation
• Able to don all required personal protective gear.
• Qualify and maintain proficiency with all assigned weapons.
• Retired Military and Retired Law Enforcement Officers are preferred
