Job summary

SENTRYSIX International seeks an Armed Security Specialist II in Bozeman, MT to safeguard facilities, conduct security inspections, and manage access control at designated sites.

The role supports both day and night shifts with full-time and part-time options, and requires military/security experience, a valid driver’s license, and Texas Level III certification or equivalent license.

Qualifications

• US citizen or eligible to work in the United States
• Minimum of 3 years verifiable experience in U.S. Military, corrections, security and/or Law Enforcement
• Completion of Texas Private Security Level III Training within 30 days or hold TX PSB Level III License
• Clean criminal history and ability to pass a pre-employment background investigation
• Honorable discharge from the military, if applicable

Responsibilities

• Perform internal guard services including entry control points, roving patrols and armed escort duties
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, residents, employees and contractors
• Provide roving mobile patrols within designated areas
• Screen vehicles and personnel at entry control points
• Protect equipment and personnel
• Maintain weapons qualification on assigned weapon systems
• Maintain proficiency with non-lethal weapons
• Work up to 12 hours in austere conditions and perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Perform internal guard services to include but not limited to, vehicle and personnel entry control points, internal roving patrols and armed escort guard services;
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, residents, employees and contractors in the communities and facilities we serve;
• Provide roving mobile patrol services within designated areas;
• Provide screening services of vehicles and personnel at entry control points;
• Protect equipment and personnel;
• Maintain weapons qualification on assigned weapon systems;
• Maintain proficiency with Non-Lethal Weapons;
• Perform internal security guard services, at any potential internal security posting, for up to 12 hours, often in austere conditions to include extreme heat, cold, wind, dust, rain or snow;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• US Citizen or Eligible for Employment in the United States
• Must have a valid US Driver’s License
• A minimum of 21 years old.
• Must have a minimum ofThree yearsverifiable experience inU.S. Military, corrections, security and/or Law Enforcement.
• Must have completed Texas Private Security Level III Training course within previous 30 days or ability to complete course at own expense prior to appointment, OR have a valid Texas PSB Level III License in hand ( Full-Time Law Enforcement Officer applicants are exempt from this requirement)
• Must have clean criminal history and able to pass a pre-employment background investigation
• Honorable discharge from the military (if applicable)
• Employment with SENTRYSIX is contingent upon a favorable background investigation
• Able to don all required personal protective gear.
• Qualify and maintain proficiency with all assigned weapons.
