GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer in Landover, MD. You will patrol diverse environments, verify identities, and respond to incidents while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• 2 years of Security Supervisor Experience
• State license if required
• 21 years of age or older
• Basic computer systems (Word, email, security management systems)
• Active Maryland Guard Card
• Access Control and Customer Service experience
• 40 hours of site training

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Site Location: Landover, MD
• Set schedule: Open availability for scheduling required for weekdays and weekends. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and overnights. Days off and scheduling could vary based on site needs. This is a flex schedule. Not able to guarantee full time hours

Qualifications of Tactical Security Supervisor

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have 2 years of Security Supervisor Experience
• You have a state license if required
• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• You're able to utilize basic computer systems such as Microsoft Word Application, email, and overall advanced computer literacy with security management systems
• You have an Active Maryland Guard Card
• You have Access Control and Customer Service experience
• You are able to complete 40 hours of site training.
