GardaWorld Security Services is actively seeking a Tactical Security Officer to monitor environments, assess risks, and respond to incidents across diverse sites in the DC area.

The role requires mobility, the ability to patrol retail, airports and detention facilities, and a willingness to travel through DC, MD and VA. A background-friendly process and first aid are valuable assets for applicants.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Able to pass extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required
• Willing to travel across DC, MD and VA
• Able to pass various background checks

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas and spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check alarms and cameras for proper function

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

What’s in it for you:

• Site Location: DC, Maryland, Virgina
• Set schedule: Open availability for scheduling required for weekdays and weekends (Mornings, Evenings, and Overnights). Must be able to travel through DC, MD, and VA, Must be able to pass various background checks depending on site needs. This is a flex schedule not able to guarentee full time.
• Competitive hourly wage of $22.85 to 26.00 / HR (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
• Responsible for visiting various sites
• Ensure all officer are working the post to standard and in correct uniform
• Must be comfortable traveling through DC, MD, VA
• Must be able to pass Various Background check based on site needs
