The Obama Presidential Center seeks a Security Supervisor to uphold high standards in building safety services and lead shift operations. You will be the main point of contact for security personnel and coordinate emergency responses on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of security experience; 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
• Valid security guard license or state-required certifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with security procedures, risk assessment, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Manage security operations center and safety technology onsite.
• Greet visitors and provide Center information.
• Maintain a visible, welcoming security presence.
• Develop and implement safety procedures for crowd control and emergencies.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Document incidents with detailed reports.
