Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in security or related field; hospitality or gaming preferred.
• Strong understanding of security operations, surveillance procedures, emergency response, and applicable laws/regulations.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop team members while fostering a respectful, accountable, and service-driven culture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, concise reports and speak confidently in group settings.
• Strong decision-making and conflict-resolution abilities; able to remain calm in high-pressure or emergency situations.
• Capable of maintaining accurate records, monitoring multiple tasks simultaneously, and ensuring procedural compliance.
• Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all security operations and personnel during the assigned shift, assuming full responsibility for safety and security of guests, team members, and property.
• Ensure all guests and team members comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
• Supervise, motivate, train, schedule, and evaluate performance of Security Officers on shift, maintaining training records.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and issue daily assignment sheets to ensure clear expectations and task coverage.
• Monitor completion of all required reports, logs, and documentation; review and approve incident reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate and communicate with other departments and external agencies during incidents, emergencies, or routine operations.
• Demonstrate strong situational awareness and the ability to stay alert in a high-risk environment.
• Uphold policies and maintain professionalism during emergencies or sensitive incidents.
