Salary: $7,877.00 - $10,598.00 Monthly
Please note: In addition to the salary range advertised, the incumbent will receive an additional 5% supervisory pay.

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has an exciting opportunity within our Information Technology Division as a Cybersecurity Supervisor to lead enterprise security architecture and guide our growing cybersecurity team as we protect critical systems and infrastructure. If you're passionate about building resilient systems, mentoring future cybersecurity leaders, and making a statewide impact, this is the role for you. In this strategic and hands-on leadership role, you will set the direction for enterprise cybersecurity at DNR, overseeing governance, risk assessment, security architecture, and incident response. You’ll supervise a talented team while architecting secure solutions for complex systems that support wildfire operations, radio communications, GIS, and more. Your work will directly influence how we defend our networks, data, and operations across Washington state. You'll serve as a key cybersecurity liaison with partners like WaTech and the Office of Cybersecurity, helping align DNR’s practices with state and federal policies. You’ll also drive innovation through policy, process improvement, and by designing systems that balance security with usability.
