Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Supervisor Security Officer in Dalton, GA to oversee gate guard and concierge staff, ensure coverage across shifts, and maintain high standards of customer service and safety.

You will supervise officers, enforce policies, manage access control and post inspections, and coordinate with emergency teams as needed. A strong background in security, communication, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of relevant security experience in a corporate setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Familiarity with public safety and security protocols, including access control and CCTV.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications are a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated observation, problem solving and customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• All valid certifications and licenses required by state laws.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• HS Diploma or GED required; able to pass extensive screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct gate guard and concierge officers during assigned shift.
• Assign posts, monitor performance, and ensure coverage at all times.
• Provide guidance, training, and coaching to officers on procedures and customer service.
• Conduct shift briefings, pass-downs, and post inspections.
• Enforce company policies, post orders, and client-specific requirements.
• Perform customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors.
• Manage access control and interior guard duties.
• Provide coverage for all shifts and posts as needed.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

As a Security Officer – Supervisor, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as offices, towers, hotels, etc.

• Set schedule: Full-time 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM Wednesday - Friday ; 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Saturday (32 HRS)

• Provide coverage for all shifts and posts as needed.
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard

• Experience: At least two (2) years of relevant experience in security, public safety, loss prevention, or military service in a corporate office setting preferably
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with public safety and security protocols, including experience operating security systems such as access control and CCTV
• Certifications: Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED is a plus
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Core Competencies: Demonstrated skills in observation, problem solving, and customer service
• Technology Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Windows-based platforms)
• Licensing: Possession of all valid certifications and licenses required under applicable state laws
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
