Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services of California, Inc. is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to lead the security team across multiple shifts in office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

The role requires a state security license and 32 hours of BSIS trainings, authorization to work in the U.S., a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of supervisory experience in a corporate setting, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the security team on your given shift
• Train new officers
• Help manage schedules to make sure you have zero dark posts during your shift
• Act as a liaison between staff and management, ensuring client security requirements are met
• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

• Site Location: Santa Clara, CA
• Schedule: Full-time Shifts Available (Shift details below)
  • Saturday-Sunday / 2:00pm-10:30pm. & Monday-Wednesday / 10:00pm-6:30am (40 hours per week)
  • Thursday-Sunday / 10:00pm-6:30am (32 hours per week)

Qualifications For Security Shift Supervisor

• You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must have at least one year of Security Supervisor Experience in a corporate setting.
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license

• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
