Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet is seeking a Security Officer to implement security services, including electronic surveillance and routine rounds, coordinate responses, and enforce policies to create a safe workplace and environment of care.

This full-time evening-shift role requires a High School Diploma, State Guard Certification, and at least one year of lead security experience; a valid driver's license and DMV history may be required.

Qualifications

Coordinates facility response to various potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors. Enforces policy & procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement. Establishes guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques, towards establishing a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care . Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety. Participates in employee awareness and education., Driving as needed for company business.

• One (1) year experience in a lead security position preferred.
• State Guard Certification/Card required
