An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Safety and Security Coordinator to oversee daily operations in a dynamic healthcare environment. Coordinates the daily operations of the Safety, Security, & Parking department, including scheduling, counseling, and disciplining personnel, while ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
Education/Certification: High School diploma or GED required. An associate or bachelor's degree in law enforcement or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
Must obtain the following certifications within specified timeframes:
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in security, parking, or customer service operations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Additional Skills/Abilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt quickly. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential, with the ability to enforce policies assertively yet courteously. Basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets, are required.
