First Coast Security is seeking Data Center Security Supervisors to oversee the daily operations and lead a team of security officers at client sites. The role emphasizes safety, integrity, and exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

The Supervisor is responsible for daily safety and security, leading, training, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards as well as client policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of security management or supervisory experience.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Supervises team of Security Officers.
• Ensure all posts are staffed with qualified, trained personnel.
• Create an employee-focused work environment.
• Conduct training to maintain/prove proficiency and readiness.
• Meet contract specifications and requirements per client agreement.

First Coast Security is a professional security company looking for those that take pride in themselves and what they do. We are recruiting for Data Center Security Supervisors who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations.

The Supervisor’s primary duties are to ensure the daily safety and security of the facility to include: the day-to-day operations while leading, training, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards as well as facility policies and procedures.

The Supervisor monitors completion of security activities and partners with the Security Account Manager and Officers to support any operational issues. The Supervisors will act as a liaison between Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervises team of Security Officers.
• Ensure all posts are staffed with qualified, trained personnel.
• Create an employee-focused work environment.
• Conduct training as necessary to maintain or improve proficiency and readiness.
• Meet all contract specifications and requirements as outlined in the client’s service agreement and scope of work document.
• Reinforce post orders and emergency procedures; update on a regular basis.
• Complete performance appraisals, handle employee grievances or complaints and conduct disciplinary actions after consultation with Account Manager.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures.
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
• Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to provide high quality customer service.
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test, may be required to pass Drivers Record check.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills Able to:
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.

Experience Requirements

Meet one or any combination of the following:

• Three (3) years security management experience
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in security
• Experience leading a team

Qualifications

• Ability to pass background check
• Ability to pass drug screen
