Job summary

First Coast Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to monitor entrances, patrol sites, assist visitors and respond to safety concerns on site in Chantilly, VA. You will follow post orders, document activities, and maintain a secure environment with professional conduct.

Training is provided to help you obtain the state guard card and CPR certification. The role offers a supportive team culture, with opportunities to advance into supervisory positions and leadership tracks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain an Unarmed Professional Security License as required by state.
• Must be able to obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Must pass a drug screen, driving record check and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old (or 21+ for driving positions).
• English language communication, reading, and writing skills.
• Able to meet physical demands including lifting up to 40 lbs and long periods of standing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols and monitor all access points, interior and exterior.
• Stand guard at posts to maintain visibility and site security.
• Observe hazards or suspicious activity and report with daily logs.
• Respond quickly to emergencies or threats.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.

• Previous security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience is helpful but not required
