Job summary

Dorado Beach Resort and Club is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee safety and security operations on site in Dorado Beach. The role ensures protocols are followed, the team performs effectively, and incidents are addressed promptly with local authorities when required.

Responsibilities include inspecting golf carts, patrolling grounds, addressing rule violations, and coordinating with the subcontracted security team to enhance response before director approval.

Qualifications

• Valid CCW permit required.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Ability to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of golf carts and complete inspection checklists.
• Ensure golf carts are clean and in good condition.
• Patrol resort areas to ensure safe transit for guests and staff.
• Address internal rule violations and escalate when necessary.
• Assist in accidents or incidents and involve authorities as needed.
• Oversee subcontracted security company reporting to the club.
• Ensure security staff arrive on time, in uniform, and follow handbook.

Job description

Security Supervisor will oversee every aspect of safety and security matters in Dorado Beach Resort and Club. This role ensures that security protocols are followed, the team performs effectively, and that incidents are addressed promptly and professionally. The Security Supervisor must maintain effective communication with local authorities and assist in investigations when required.

Key Responsibilities may include:

• Conduct inspections of the golf cart used during the shift and complete the designated inspection checklist.
• Ensure the golf cart remains clean and in good condition.
• Patrol all areas related to Dorado Beach Resort and Club to confirm they are safe for transit and pedestrians.
• If a violation of our internal rules occurs within the premises of Dorado Beach Resort and Club the Supervisor will address this situation and escalte if necessary.
• In case of an accident or incident, the Security Supervisor will assist in the situation to confirm that the safety of each person is not compromised. Proper authorities should be called if needed.
• Will oversee the subcontracted security company that reports to the club and take proper actions to enhance security response, prior to the Security Director consent.
• Make sure all security staff arrive on time, in uniform and perform as per Dorado Beach Resort Team Member handbook.

Job Requirements:

• Valid CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) permit
• 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• Prior experience in the Hospitality industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks on time and work with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, excellent skills in leadership and interpersonal communication.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions may include:
