Job summary

White Lodging seeks a Security Lead to supervise the property's security team, coordinate incident responses, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and associates in Austin. You will lead investigations, prepare detailed reports, and report to the Director of Security in their absence.

This role emphasizes strong leadership, clear communication, OSHA compliance, risk assessment, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred, with 2–5 years of hotel security experience.
• Experience in law enforcement or hotel security is preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA compliance and emergency response protocols.

• Oversee department operations in the absence of the Director of Security, including managing schedules and assigning duties.
• Facilitate safety training and ensure compliance with OSHA standards, loss prevention policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct daily property patrols, hazard inspections, and key control checks to maintain a secure and safe environment.
• Build strong relationships with team members and other departments to create a collaborative and respectful work environment.
