Job summary

White Lodging seeks an Overnight Security Officer to maintain a safe, welcoming environment across its luxury hotels in Austin. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor CCTV, control access, and respond to incidents while coordinating with team members.

The role requires prior security, hospitality, or customer service experience, CPR/First Aid willingness, and English/Spanish bilingual abilities preferred. Company offers benefits starting Day 1 and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous security, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain after hire).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency and clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel interior and exterior areas to identify safety hazards or suspicious activity.
• Monitor and report activity using security cameras, maintaining detailed logs of observations.
• Control access at associate entrances, issue and collect visitor passes, and safeguard keys to critical areas.
• Investigate theft, property damage, trespassing, or personal injury incidents and prepare clear, detailed reports.
• Respond to guest disturbances or rule violations, taking appropriate action to maintain order.
• Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire, severe weather, medical, or evacuation situations.
• Manage lost and found inventory and generate associate identification cards.
• Support leadership with additional security-related tasks as needed.
