Job summary

Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is seeking a SECURITY STRATEGY ANALYST (GS-0301-13) to direct and manage security for directed exercises, wargames, and events involving SAP, CAP, and other sensitive programs within Joint Staff (J7).

The role covers planning and implementing security program strategies across the U.S. and allied partners, developing policies, and overseeing media storage at various classification levels. Telework eligibility is noted.

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance required.
• Experience directing security for SAP/CAP and J-7 programs.

Responsibilities

• Implements procedures to cover J-7 security objectives and advises internal and external groups to identify significant security issues.
• Provides leadership in working groups, supporting interagency study groups, meetings and conferences, and offering strategy guidance for security programs.
• Plans, implements and monitors J-7 security program strategies spanning U.S. intelligence community and ally controls.
• Develops program plans, policies and procedures and supports oversight and administrative functions for J-7 personnel.
• Manages, inventories, secures, and destroys J-7 storage media of varying classifications.
