Target is hiring a Security Specialist in our Assets Protection team. You will help guests, colleagues and the store stay safe while maintaining a welcoming environment and proactive security measures.

Role requires clear communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail setting, including nights and weekends. Training will be provided to develop security best practices and incident response.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ years old and meet state/local licensure requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming guest experience while maintaining security standards.
• Assist guests and team members to resolve issues and ensure smooth shopping.
• Monitor store security and document incidents promptly in the case management system.
• Conduct merchandise theft recoveries and provide theft apprehension support as needed.
• Maintain safe and secure standards throughout the store.
