Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a motivated Personnel Security Specialist II to join our El Segundo, CA team. You will handle day-to-day PERSEC services for collateral, SCI, and SAP programs, ensuring timely processing and compliance with government standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining PERSEC databases, supporting security education programs, and coordinating with government security personnel on clearance actions. A strong background in JPAS/DCII, SAPNP reviews, and policy manuals is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 6 years related experience in PERSEC or equivalent field.
• 4 years of SCI or SAP experience.
• Familiarity with security policy/manuals and ICDs/JAFANs/DOD manuals and other policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain tracking spreadsheets/databases for PERSEC activities.
• Support security awareness and education programs.
• Provide administrative support as directed by site lead or Government Security Representative.
• Review and monitor security clearance processing with government personnel for proper actions.
• Conduct DCII, JPAS, and SAPNP reviews for SAP access candidates.
