Job summary

Target Security Specialist position located in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet guests, assist with finding products, and resolve issues to create a smooth, friendly shopping experience while maintaining a secure store environment.

You will use video surveillance, document incidents, and support your team through crisis events, with flexible hours including nights and weekends. Must be 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests; help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience; end every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude; adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an inspiring guest experience.
• Promote a physical security culture by maintaining safe standards store-wide and respond to security incidents quickly; document incidents in the case management system.
