Job summary

Target is seeking a Security Specialist to protect guests, team members and assets in a fast-paced store environment. You will greet guests, assist with questions, and support a secure shopping experience through de-escalation, observation, and timely incident reporting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to Target’s safety standards and policies. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and help them find what they need for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you and assist peers as needed.
• Promote safety and security by following Target AP procedures and documenting incidents.
• Use Target's video surveillance system to monitor, assess, and report incidents.
• Conduct merchandise receipt checks to prevent theft and shortages.
