Job summary

Target Security Specialist position in a fast-paced retail environment focuses on guest safety, friendly service, and loss prevention. You will greet customers, respond to incidents, and work with the team to maintain a secure store atmosphere.

Responsibilities include using de-escalation techniques, documenting cases in our case management system, and protecting merchandise and guests. Training is provided, and the role offers flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by greeting guests and assisting them.
• Support store operations by maintaining safety, handling incidents, and documenting cases.
• Use de-escalation tactics and security controls to protect guests, team members, and assets.
• Perform merchandise checks and prevent theft in alignment with AP policies.
• Complete documentation in the case management system for all incidents.
