Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Meet state/local licensure and/or other legal requirements
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate scanners
• Effective communication skills
• Work independently and with a team
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the front of store to create a welcoming experience
• Maintain a safe and secure store environment and exterior property
• Respond to and document security incidents promptly
• Address guest issues to ensure safety for staff and guests
• Use de-escalation techniques and security resources as needed
• Conduct merchandise theft recoveries and support theft apprehension per AP policies
• Perform merchandise receipt checks to prevent theft and shortages
• Document incidents in the case management system per AP procedures
• Operate Target's video surveillance system
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance in all tasks
• Work safely and report hazards per policies
• All other duties as needed by business requirements
