Job summary

Target's Assets Protection team keeps guests, team members and the brand secure while handling crisis events. The role focuses on preventing theft and maintaining safe store environments, using surveillance and documented case management.

You will respond to security incidents, de-escalate when needed, and support store leadership with loss prevention efforts across the front of store and back areas. Must be able to stand and work in a fast‑paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests and assist with needs to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Respond to and document security incidents in a timely manner.
• Submit documentation in the case management system for all incidents following AP policy.
