Target is hiring a Security Specialist in Austin to help protect guests, team members, and assets. You will use intelligence-led tactics, manage incidents, and work with store leadership to maintain safe operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and security equipment as directed.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by greeting and assisting guests and team members.
• Promote a physical security culture and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Conduct merchandize theft recoveries and provide theft apprehension support per AP policies.
• Submit appropriate documentation in the case management system following AP policy.
• Understand and use Target's video surveillance system effectively.
• Work safely and comply with all safety policies and training.
