Job description

This position is located in Maynard, MA.

The ideal candidate will have experience in: Constructing, maintaining, and securing fixed, mobile, or restricted-access facilities. Reviewing, interpreting and applying complex security policies, directives, or standards to protect sensitive facilities, classified information, proprietary data, or physical assets. Also leading inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and corrective actions.

The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

To qualify for this position at the GS-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:

  1. Developing a comprehensive security program covering anti-terrorism, crisis management, physical security, information security, operations security, personnel security, and security education, and
  2. Implementing access control, alarm, video, telecommunications, and computer systems security measures to protect detachment operations, and
  3. Managing multi-faceted security programs to support organizational readiness and risk reduction.
