Zusammenfassung

The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is seeking a GS-13-level professional in the Office of National Continuity Programs, Continuity Implementation Division, to lead national continuity efforts.

The ideal candidate will coordinate stakeholders, design and implement interagency plans and exercises, and prepare after-action or corrective action reports for senior leadership.

Qualifikationen

  • One full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal government.
  • Experience leading the coordination of stakeholders in designing and executing operational plans and procedures; AND
  • Experience leading the development of interagency cycles of plans, training, and exercise materials; AND
  • Experience developing and presenting after-action or corrective action reports to senior management and executives.

Jobbeschreibung

This position is located in Office of National Continuity Programs- Continuity Implementation Division.

The ideal candidate for this position will have robust experience with stakeholder engagement and coordination while also developing and leading national response, preparedness, or continuity planning, project management, and exercise design and implementation. The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

To qualify for this position at the GS-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:

  1. Leading the coordination of stakeholders in designing and executing operational plans and procedures; AND
  2. Leading the development of interagency cycles of plans, training, and exercise materials; AND
  3. Developing and presenting after-action or corrective action reports to senior management and executives.
