Job summary

ITI Engineering is seeking a Security Specialist to patrol and secure our facility and identify safety risks. This is a part-time role with a flexible schedule, including Saturdays 8am-8pm and potential extra hours during holidays. You will be responsible for access control, patrols, and logging shift activity.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in security or related fields, possess basic computer skills, and hold a Florida driver’s license to operate a vehicle as needed on site.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of security, law enforcement, first responder, military or related field preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Must have and maintain a Florida Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Control access onto the property.
• Conduct periodic foot patrols throughout the property.
• Monitor premises to prevent property damage and theft.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Completes shift activity logs.
• Between patrol duties, work on additional tasks as assigned.

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Security Specialist to become part of our award-winning team. The Security Specialist will patrol and secure the premises during off-hours and weekends as well as identify security and safety risks to our team. This is part-time position. Must be flexible to work a varying schedule including Saturdays 8am-8pm with extra hours available during holidays and cover shifts as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Control access onto the property.
• Conduct periodic foot patrols throughout the property.

Basic Qualifications:

• One to three years of experience in security, law enforcement, first responder, military or related field preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency is required.
• Must have and maintain a Florida Driver’s License.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit at a computer for short periods.
• Ability to move through the company’s buildings to inspect and detect safety concerns.
• Able to effectively communicate safety protocols.
