FedEx is seeking a district-level security leader to safeguard people, assets, and the brand at assigned locations in California. You will drive strategic security planning, conduct risk assessments, and respond to urgent security matters.
The role involves leading investigations into incidents, coordinating with law enforcement and regulatory agencies, monitoring surveillance and access control systems, and training partners on security best practices. Travel may be required.
Bachelor’s degree/Equivalent in directly related field. Related fields may include corporate security, audit, military, law enforcement, transportation or supply chain loss prevention, loss analytics.
Three (3) years related experience required in corporate security, audit, military, law enforcement, transportation or supply chain loss prevention, and/or loss analytics.
Strong interpersonal communication, writing skills, and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of Microsoft based computer programs and the ability to prepare detailed reports. Ability to complete required training programs. Must maintain a valid driver's license to operate company vehicle.
Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. If required to carry a firearm as part of job duties, subject to random drug testing. Works in an industrial environment and must adhere to all safety considerations. Travel may be necessary.
Pay: Internal: FEC_SH29 External: Min $44.84 - Max $56.05
