Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Solutions Architect II to support the achievement of sales goals through direct pre-sales support. The role involves providing high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective technical solutions that meet or exceed customer needs in a professional manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop technical solutions that align customer business requirements with security technology solutions.
2. Create technical scopes of work (SOW) and detailed design narratives for solutions and associated cost estimates.
3. Manage estimation processes, coordinating with sales, management, and customer teams.
4. Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and design specifications to prepare compliant solutions.
5. Research emerging technologies to support security integration solutions.
6. Collaborate with product and distribution partners to obtain system, device, and equipment pricing during estimates.
7. Support the sales team in technical discussions and meetings with customers and partners.
8. Assist in customer-facing ROI discussions and technical presentations.
9. Understand construction divisions related to electronics safety and security for RFP responses.
10. Maintain quality assurance by adhering to organizational standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
2. At least 7 years of relevant experience with integrated electronic security solutions or 5 years in pre-sales support or engineering.
3. Industry certifications such as PSP, CCNA, or product-specific certifications in Access Control and IP Video platforms.
4. Knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and IP configuration; CCNA or equivalent preferred.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
7. Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
8. Ability to obtain necessary state licensing.
9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PDF editing tools like Bluebeam.
10. Willingness to travel 20-30% as needed.
