DK Security is seeking a Security Site Supervisor in Grand Rapids, MI to protect client properties and ensure safety across assigned sites. You will perform patrols, monitor access, and report incidents while coordinating with clients and the operations manager to maintain security standards.

The role emphasizes professional appearance, strong customer service, and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies. Training meets client requirements, including CPR/First Aid/AED.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass a drug screen at hire and randomly thereafter (including marijuana).
• No felony convictions; not convicted of misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud or related offenses.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk 8–12 hours; lift at least 50 lbs.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certified (or willing to become certified).
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking of English; professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: reflect positively on the company and assist clients, staff, visitors and coworkers.
• Observe and report: stay alert for suspicious activities and incidents.
• Security presence: maintain professional appearance and stand guard in lobbies, reception areas and control centers.
• Security officer duties: perform foot and/or vehicle patrols as required.
• Access control: ensure restricted areas are secure and verify IDs.
• Safety patrol: enforce site policies and report safety concerns.
• Emergency response: assist in emergencies and communicate with responders.
• Security liaison: maintain client communications and update operations manager.
