Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is seeking Security Officers to protect client properties across Michigan. You will provide excellent customer service, perform security patrols, monitor access points, and respond to emergencies.

Duties vary by contract, offering a diverse and challenging environment in a team-focused setting. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ age, ability to pass drug screening, and CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter.
• No felonies; cannot have misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, or violence.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or willingness to become certified).
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work).
• Must be fluent in reading/writing/speaking English and provide professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and project a positive company image.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents.
• Maintain security presence in lobbies, receptions, and control centers.
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols as required.
• Control access by verifying IDs and restricting unauthorized entry.
• Ensure a safe environment and enforce site policies.
• Assist in emergencies with CPR/First Aid/AED and coordinate with responders.
• Communicate with client staff and site supervisor; perform other duties as assigned.
