Job summary

GDI Security Services is hiring a Security Site Supervisor to help ensure safety at client premises in Jacksonville, FL. The role requires vigilance, professionalism, and dependable performance in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring facilities, generating detailed reports, scheduling, and coordinating with security personnel. Previous security or related experience is preferred; driving and transportation capability are useful for patrols and on-site duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule violations.
• Complete detailed incident and activity reports.
• Solicit and communicate with team; manage shift patrols.
• Inspect doors, windows, and gates for proper function and security.
• Coordinate with emergency responders when needed.
• Operate security software to annotate events during shift.
• Perform regular property patrols and collaborate with the team.

Join our team as a Security Site Supervisor! We are looking for a responsible and dependable Security Supervisor to help ensure safety and security at our premises. The ideal candidate is alert, professional, and reliable.

Schedule Hours:

7:00am-3:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with high level of detail.
• Make weekly schedules.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with computer.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
• Successfully use the provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan the pre-determined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle a light physical workload. Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols.
• Strong attention to detail
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards.
• Have a reliable means of transportation.
