Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services seeks a responsible Security Supervisor to help ensure safety at our premises. The ideal candidate is alert, professional, and reliable, with prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.

In this role you will monitor premises, complete detailed reports, create weekly schedules, inspect doors and gates, respond to incidents, operate security software, and work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related fields.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Ability to stand and/or walk patrols.
• Strong attention to detail.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable means of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with high level of detail.
• Make weekly schedules.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with computer.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Use provided software to annotate events during shift.
• Make regular rounds around the property and follow directions from management.
• Collaborate as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle a light physical workload. Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols.
• Strong attention to detail
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards.
• Have a reliable means of transportation.
