Job summary

Colonial Security Services seeks a Security Site Manager in Jersey City, NJ to oversee daily security operations at a designated client site. You will manage on-site personnel, maintain high service standards, and ensure compliance with post orders and client expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to respond to incidents promptly. Nights/weekends availability may be required; health insurance and PTO are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; security or management training preferred.
• 2+ years of security experience including supervisory or site management roles.
• Valid SORA license.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all security operations at the assigned site.
• Supervise security officers, ensuring training and performance.
• Serve as primary client contact for site representatives.
• Ensure compliance with post orders, protocols, and safety regulations.
• Prepare officer schedules and ensure staffing at all times.
• Conduct regular site inspections and patrols to maintain service standards.
• Address and report incidents, emergencies, or client concerns promptly.
• Manage performance issues, including coaching and discipline as needed.
• Submit daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift summaries.
• Maintain a professional, visible presence and uphold the company's values.
