Job summary

Marksman Security is hiring Security Officers for full-time day and evening shifts in Texas. You will manage daily security operations and serve as the primary liaison between the client and security personnel to ensure top-notch service delivery.

Ideal candidates are 21+, hold a Texas security license, have 1–2 years of security experience, and demonstrate excellent customer service. The role includes PTO/holidays, health benefits, and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required.
• 1–2 years of proven security experience via TOPS history.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Shifts Available:

• Full-Time 1st Shift, Monday - Friday 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM
• Full-Time 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Manage daily security operations and ensured high-quality service delivery.
• Maintain security logs, records, and post orders.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the client and security personnel.
• Promote a strong safety culture and incident prevention efforts.
• Respond to emergencies, ensuring timely communication and reporting.
• Supervise and support shift personnel and site operations.
• Recognize employee achievements and addressed performance issues as needed.
• Maintain professional client relationships and service standards.
• Exercise sound judgment and performed additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• At least 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required!
• You have at least 6 months to 1 year of supervisor experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Previous metal detections experience
• Prior badging experience is a plus
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, or climb stairs for extended periods
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of proven security experience via TOPS history
• Must have excellent customer service experience
• Must have a professional appearance and demeanor
