Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking a Weekend Security Supervisor for a high-volume distribution facility in Irving, TX. You will lead the Saturday–Sunday shift and serve as Security Officer during weekdays, overseeing posts, devices, dock activity, and high-value loads to ensure strict procedures are followed.

The role requires a Texas non‑commissioned security license, strong customer service, and reliable, detail-oriented behavior. Shift is 1st shift with Tue-Sun schedule and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Texas Non-Commissioned Security License required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with report writing and surveillance.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Commitment to the posted Wed-Sun, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift on Saturdays and Sundays and serve as Security Officer during the week.
• Guide officers on post, monitor devices and X-ray screening, dock activity and high-value loads.
• Ensure posts are covered and procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintain professionalism, reliability and attention to detail in a secure facility.
• Deterrence of theft and coordination of security procedures during peak periods.

Marksman Security is Now Hiring for a Weekend Security Supervisor

$17.50 per hour | $20.00 per hour on Supervisor days

1st Shift

Wednesday thru Sunday 6:00am - 2:00pm

Texas Non-Commissioned Security License is Required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security AND customer service fields.

Join our team at a high-volume distribution and warehouse facility as a Weekend Security Supervisor , where you'll lead the shift on Saturdays and Sundays and serve as a Security Officer during the week. You will be responsible for guiding officers on post, monitoring device and X-ray screening, dock activity, and high-value loads, and making sure every post is covered and every procedure is followed.

The site is a secure, high-volume facility and will require the highest level of professionalism, attention to detail, reliability, and high-quality candidates with excellent work ethics.

About This Schedule

Shift: 1st Shift

Work Days: Wed-Sun

Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Days Off: Mon, Tue

Hours per Week: 40

Employment Type: Full-Time

Starting Pay: $17.50 / hour (Officer days) - $20.00 / hour (Supervisor days)

Post Assignment: Shift Supervisor on Sat & Sun ($20.00/hr) - Security Officer Wed-Fri ($17.50/hr)

Responsibilities

• Device Check: Scanning tag on the back of approved employee devices. Reading persons IMEI on phone making sure it matches the sticker or paperwork provided for the approved device.
• North Dock: Monitoring trash dump for theft attempts, opening and closing dock doors, tracking outbound trucks, counting pallets for inbound trucks, monitoring open dock doors as they are being loaded. Monitoring special projects during peak season.
• South Dock: Counting pallets for inbound trucks, monitoring special projects during peak season, sending and receiving emails, typing truck information, and monitoring open dock doors. Open and close dock doors.
• Metal Detector: Checking devices in and out; only approved devices with a sticker or approved paperwork are allowed. Making sure visitors clear through the x-ray. Watching the X-Ray machine, making sure everyone clears through the X-Ray. Making sure no prohibited items enter the building.
• Rover: Will be walking throughout the area to assist in deterring theft attempts.
• Tracker: Keeps track of all high value loads via computer software.

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required!
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Able to commit to the posted schedule: Wed-Sun, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
