Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking a Security Officer to protect client properties and provide excellent service. Shift availability includes Thursday and Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

You will patrol, monitor, and report incidents while delivering top-tier customer service. This role offers growth opportunities and benefits, with licensing and background checks required for employment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Texas license: non-commissioned security license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct roving patrols to identify unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for incidents and emergencies.
• Monitor property and address rule infractions.

• Prepare clear, detailed, and accurate incident reports.
• Enforce site policies, procedures, regulations, and security standards.

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• At least 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required!
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
• Experience working in Class A or high rise environment is a preferred.
